The film 'Arundhati' is about the struggle of the protagonist (Anushka) to free her family from a curse.The movie has got right mixture of content and technology . The film has more violence and it is advised not to take children to the movie.

Anushka has given top most performance in the role of jejeamma and she is the backbone of the movie and performed to the mark. Sonu Stood as womaniser and evil force done exceptionally well. Shayaji Shinde in the role of muslim priest has given wonderful performance.Story and the screenplay is excellent. The story (flashback scenes) are shown in parts and this makes to stick to the screenplay.

Despite many logic less scenes, it gives unique experience for the viewers.

Arundhati is the name of telugu movie which is produced by Shyam Prasad Reddy and directed by Kodi Ramakrishna.In Tamil, the movie is produced by Sri Thenandal Films of Rama Narayanan. The tamil Movie is released all over the world on 20th March 2009.
