It seems she wants to finish all her work by the end of March, and be free after that.

Beauty seems to run in the Rai family. As if having one beauty pageant winner Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not enough, her sister-in-law, Shrima Rai too has added glory to the family. Shrima, first runners up in Mrs India 2009, was among the top ten finalists at Mrs Globe 2009 contest.

She also won the ‘Most Beautiful Face’ title among 40 contestants from all over the world. Shrima is a banker by profession.

The beauty pageant was held on December 13 in Bratislava, Slovakia in Europe. An elated Shrima told Mumbai Mirror, “I am extremely happy and excited at the moment. It was a worthwhile experience. I was accompanied by my husband Aditya Rai. He was on cloud nine when I won this title. It was a different experience meeting married women on the same stage from all over the world.”

Her parents and in-laws couldn’t accompany her since they were busy with their work commitments. “Each one of them called and congratulated me, including Aishwarya,” adds Shrima.
Like other beauty pageant winners, Shrima is open to acting offers. She says, “I wouldn’t mind acting if something constructive and fruitful comes my way.”

Director Anurag Basu says, "I first noticed Hrithik's singing talent when we were casually jamming one evening after dinner. After that when I told him to sing for KITES, he wasn't too sure initially but he agreed to give it a try. He is a natural singer and has the talent in his genes; I only did my job by tapping it. Hrithik has a good career ahead as a singer and I feel fortunate that we have a song sung by Hrithik in KITES."

The Supreme Court Bench which is hearing this case under the chief Justice of India K.G. Bala Krishnan wondered that what the problem to people in India is if two adult people are agreed to live together. This is really strange and is violation of freedom. The Chief Justice said it to the Advocate who is been representing the complaints.

The Bench is hearing the petition filed by Khusboo to quash all the cases against her as it is violation of freedom of speech in Human Rights. Court is saying that there is no such law which can prohibit pre marital sex and Live-In Relationship in country. Court has given an example that Lord Krishna and Radha were also living together. The bench consisted of three judges that were listening to it said that it will not counter effect the youths of India as the petition filed earlier reported that it will make a wrong statement in youths and they will row for Pre-Marital Sex and Live-In relationship.

The court has reserved the decision and questioned the case filers that under which section they think Khusboo can be charged? It also asked the the complaint makers that how will this statement from khusboo influences their lives and why they are bothered too much about personal statements like this.

Sounding more relaxed than she did recently Kareena took time off from the very special family gathering to speak. “I’ve been running around frantically promoting my film. And then I was ailing for a week. I decided I had to be well for the festive season. Christmas was a very, very special occasion for my mom and sister. But we never get to be together for the occasion. This time I was adamant. I made sure I took time off from work so all us girls could spend time together. My mom and I were here in Delhi to spend time with my sister and niece.”

Laughs Kareena, “Karisma and I don’t get to spend that much time together. She has her home and husband in Delhi. My career takes me all over the place. Mom cribs we’re never together. This year-end reunion was something we had promised ourselves from long before.”

In Delhi, Kareena is overwhelmed by the response to her new film. “Everywhere I go I am swamped by compliments for the role. The length of the role didn’t matter. I’m just glad to be part of a historic happening. When Raj Kumar Hirani and Aamir asked me to be part of their film I jumped at it. Aamir Khan is making waves by promoting upcoming film '3 Idiots' in innovative ways. But co-star R. Madhavan is unperturbed by the actor hogging the limelight. In fact, he admits that the film is being sold on the superstar's name and he has no problems with that.

'Aamir is the biggest star; so it would be foolish to think that the focus will be entirely on you when he is in the film. We are selling '3 Idiots' on his name,' Madhavan, who had teamed up with Aamir in the hit film 'Rang De Basanti', told IANS.

Aamir has launched a game where one has to spot the Bollywood star who will travel across the country in different get-ups in two weeks. His travels have so far taken him to Varanasi, Madhya Pradesh's Chanderi district, former cricket captain Sourav Ganguly's home in Kolkata and Jaipur.

'However, the fact is that the film is called '3 Idiots' and I'm one of the three; so my presence is obviously felt,' said Madhavan.

Released on Dec 25, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor and Sharman Joshi. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, it is about two idiots - Sharman and Madhavan - who are in search of the third idiot, played by Aamir.

The 39-year-old actor said it was wonderful working with Aamir again.

'It was great getting back with Aamir and Sharman after 'Rang De Basanti'. We stayed together in a hostel during the shoot of the film and had a great time. Aamir is an outstanding friend and a very loving person. He pursues things till perfection. I have learnt a lot from him,' he said.

The actor, who was an engineering student, refrained from speaking about his role in the film, but said it resembles his own life.

Talking about 'Munnabhai' director Hirani, Madhavan said: 'He is the most chilled out director I have ever worked for; he is amazing and makes an actor so relaxed on the sets.'

So, does he feel that '3 Idiots' has the potential to beat the 'Munnabhai' series directed by Hirani?

Remember the “Kangal Irandaal” girl, Swathi, who played her role to perfection in the blockbuster Subramaniapuram? It looks like the lass, who definitely is in no hurry to sign roles, will finally do a Tamil film, almost a year after ‘Subramaniapuram’ happened.

Swathi, who was a TV anchor turned actress in Telugu, struck gold in Kollywood through her very first film, ‘Subramaniapuram’, playing the demure school going Thulasi. Following this, the actress was tad disappointed at having received only such village-girl roles in Tamil cinema, and so, had decided to not do any uninspiring project here, and concentrated on her career in Tollywood.

But Katrina has now become the first Indian beauty on whom the Barbie Doll will be modeled at the Barbie Museum.

“The customised Barbie being made for the American museum will be just like me,” Katrina is quoted by a news daily.

Katrina, who was chosen as Miss Barbie at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai to mark the celebration of 50 years of Barbie earlier this year, had expressed her jubilation on being selected for the honour.

Akshay Kumar may have to pay a heavy price for his unbuttoning act at the Lakme fashion week. He along with his wife Twinkle and the organizers of LFW will be arrested shortly in response to the complained registered by social activist, Anil Nair.

According to Arvind Mahabdi, ACP, “We’ll make the arrests soon and then take their statements.”

The police is yet to send orders to the pair. The spokesperson of Akshay, Sanchita said, “We’ll respond when the police approach us.” However the couple is in the safe side as the offence is bailable and after three months of imprisonment, they may be released on bail.

On April 13, the faith of Akki and Twinkle will be decided. A case has been filed against them in the Meerut police station.

Priyanka chopra who is mega busy nowadays faints on the movie set due to exhaustion.Priyanka Chopra, who is currently shooting for Ashutosh Gowarikar’s What’s Your Raashee?, gave Gowarikar’s unit quite a scare on Saturday when she suddenly fainted while in the middle of a shot.She just collapsed and went unconscious for a few moments, much to the worry of everyone on the sets, mostly Gowarikar. A doctor was quickly called on to the sets. Meanwhile, Priyanka’s mother also rushed to the location. She was visibly worried and concerned about her daughter.

Priyanka says she fainted due to exhaustion and low blood pressure.

Now , Priyanka’s health has been far from perfect. In fact, a unitmember is quoted as saying that Priyanka completed the shoot and only then did she leave for the hospital.

Shooting round the clock, attending events and endorsements, and looking after her parents have all taken a toll on her fitness.But she did not allow herself the comfort of complete bed rest the next day. "The idea for Amitabh Bachchan launching a new channel came while he was shooting for Ram Gopal Varma's Rann. Bachchan plays Harshvardhan Malik, the owner of a TV channel in the film. When Ramu and Bachchan were discussing the script in the initial stages, it was Bachchan's idea that Ramu name his channel, India 24/7. Now the channel which Bachchan is apparently planning to launch is also called India 24/7. That can hardly be a co-incidence."

"It is certainly a disadvantage for her, but she'll have to work with it that she is my daughter. She can't change it and she'll have to live with it and carry that luggage. And I'll always be there to support her," Kamal told IANS in an interview.

But the 54-year-old is all praises for his daughter who is making her Bollywood debut with "Luck".

"She's an extraordinary girl and I am not talking as her father. I observed her myself at an audition and I was really impressed. I hope there are many more who think like that. She's found her own niche and is going in the right direction," he added.

Shruti, 23, is the eldest of two daughters born to Kamal and actress Sarika and has a professional degree in music from the Musicians Institute, California. She has also learnt "North Indian classical music", informs Kamal.

Not many know that she debuted as a playback singer at the age of six, in "Thevar Magan" (1992) and her first Bollywood playback came in "Chachi 420" (1998).

Her second Hindi song came in "Hey Ram" (2000), in which she sung the bilingual versions of the title track "Rama Rama" with her father, in both Hindi and Tamil. She also made a brief appearance in "Hey Ram".

Her last released film song was in Gautham Menon's "Vaaranam Aayiram".

Apart from singing, Shruti has also been a model and featured in magazines like "Frappe!" and "Verve".

Shruti, who also heads the rock band Extramentals, has teamed up with childhood friend and actor Imran Khan in Soham Shah's "Luck".

Apart from Bollywood, she is also making her debut as a music composer in "Thalaivan Irukkiraan", her father's home production Rajkamal Films International's remake of "A Wednesday" in Tamil and Telugu respectively.

"She has already recorded a song for the film and it's come out really well," said Kamal.

On being asked if he guides his daughter on her career, Kamal said: "I don't advise her nor do we discuss our films with each other. We do discuss films on the whole and the kind of music I want for my film - that's it."

Besides films, Shruti is also going to cut her debut album this year.

The award, which is given for outstanding contribution to Asian film, will be presented to Ms. Chopra by The Hollywood Reporter during the 3rd Annual Asian Film Awards on March 23rd. After three years of tough schedules of shooting and changes in the casting, Bala’s Naan Kadavul was finally released. As usual, completely removed from the commercial potboilers, Naan Kadavul is here to deliver another strong message to the audiences. This film heads with the tag-line ‘Aham Brahmaasmi’. Arya plays the role of a ‘Sadhu’ and Pooja is a poor girl in the film. Major part of the shooting has been carried out in Kasi. Naan Kadavul is an Ilayaraja musical.

‘Amma Un Pillai’ is the highlight of the album. The song’s tune and tempo are remade from one of Ilayaraja’s earlier hits ‘Amma Un Kovilil’. S. Janaki’s classic, all-time favourite rendition is replicated by Sadhana Sargam and the singer does her best. The silky timbre in her voice itself delivers the exact feel. Shreya Goshal’s ‘Kannil Paarvai’ too creates a sombre mood. Shreya’s slow yet emotion-filled singing makes us lie back, close our eyes and drink in the deep feeling in the tune as well as the lyrics. ‘Maatha Un Kovilil’ by Madhumitha is a rehash of the same old tune along with the lyrics. The difference between the original and the new version is the change in the assortment of instruments Ilayaraja has chosen for the BGM.

Movie Story:
For spiritual and astrological change, a father drive his son . Tamilnadu boy go and take refuge in Kasi. At the same time, realizing his fault , father goes looking for her son to Varanasi. Arya growing up in the middle of Saadhu and Sanyasins and become one with long hair and bloody appearance. Shocked to see his son in such a condition that he decides to end his return to his hometown.

Arya shows no interest to his family and sacrifice everything for sanyasanam. Pooja comes as a blind girl and she was forced to beg people . This film also shows us the very difficult life od beggers and how they suffer . All these brings tears to our eyes.

Aish got Upset

On her recent visit to New Delhi, Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai was asked a question that upset her visibly.

After the premiere of Drona last week in Mumbai, Ash flew to Delhi to inaugurate a Longines boutique in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. She is the brand ambassador of Swiss watch brand Longines.
It was during this event a reporter asked Ash about her friction with Shahrukh Khan , her co-star in Devdaas .

It can be recalled that Ash was supposed to be SRK’s heroine in Chalte Chalte but was dropped from the project after Salman Khan (her then boyfriend) barged on the sets and created a scene. Since then Ash and SRK haven’t been on talking terms. But when SRK posed happily with Ash at the premiere of ‘Drona’ last week, it was clear that friction between them was a thing of the past.

So when Ash was asked this question about her equation with SRK by a reporter in Delhi, she dismissed it as something created by media.

“You people (media) create it, and then you print it or put it on prime time. There are already enough saas bahu serials on tv to entertain people, so there is no need for such stories,” Ash replied.

But when the adamant reporter asked again if there ever was a friction between her and SRK, Ash lost her cool and promptly retorted: “How can I answer such a ridiculous question.”
